     * As Chinese New Year falls on Sunday 10 February 2013 and Monday 11 February 2013, the next day, Tuesday 12 February 2013, will be a public holiday.
     
     # The following Monday will be a public holiday.
  2. The date, 3 November 2013, for Deepavali needs to be checked against the Indian Almanac when it is available. Should there be a change in date, the Ministry of Manpower will issue a media release to announce the change.

  This got to show that FireIce is very confident that 21 Dec. 2012 is not end of the world and nothing will happen on that day. Me too, don't believe the sayings about 21 Dec. 2012.

  Public holidays are bonuses. Otherwise we are always prepared to get them burnt.
